Strategy and Implementation Practice

Deliver transformation that actually sticks.

We run the programs that turn strategy into operational reality, for health systems, critical access hospitals, and publicly funded transformation. We are operators, not advisors. When the work is funded by public dollars, we deliver against the outcomes and reporting that funding demands.

The practice
Most transformation does not fail in the strategy deck. It fails in the rollout.

The gap between a funded plan and a changed organization is execution and adoption, and that gap is widest in a small hospital with a lean team. We have run enterprise programs from inside health systems and regulated environments, so we know where they break and how to close the distance. We stay until the work is done.

Healthcare Technical Solutions began as a clinician training firm. Before we ran transformations, we taught nurses and physicians to use their clinical systems on the floor, at go live, on Cerner and Epic, across hospital systems and small practices from New York and New Jersey up to Massachusetts and out to Pennsylvania. Adoption was the work from the first day, and it still is. It is the discipline every transformation needs, and the one rural networks need most.

Capabilities
The work that turns funding and strategy into outcomes.

01Program and project management

Delivery led by PMP certified program managers that keeps complex, multi site programs on scope, on schedule, and adopted.

02Change management and adoption

The discipline that turns a go live into lasting use, even where staff and time are scarce.

03Healthcare IT and digital

EHR and clinical system go lives, integrations, and optimization at the point of care.

04Federal and state program management

Delivering against the outcomes and reporting that public funding requires.

05Critical access and rural hospitals

Implementation built for small hospitals and regional hub and spoke networks.

06Digital transformation

Modernizing operations and technology without breaking the work that depends on them.

07Data and analytics

Turning operational and clinical data into decisions and into required reporting.

08Fractional program leadership

Senior program executives embedded for the duration, at the pace you set.

Most recently, our team designed and launched a complementary and integrative health education and certification platform, from the backend and course structure to the credentialing, cohort, and mentorship pathways, then trained the client's people to run it. Delivered through our affiliated firm, it is current proof that we build the training and certification infrastructure a workforce program needs, not just the plan for it.

How we engage
One relationship, four ways in. You pick where to start.
1

Advisor

We pressure test your plan and hand you a clear path. The fastest way to start.

2

Program manager

We run a defined initiative hands on, with a clear start and a clear finish.

3

Fractional program executive

We own a program or portfolio at the leadership level, interim or part time.

4

Full delivery team

We bring a team and run the transformation end to end, change management included.

We can start small and scale to your pace.

Rural Health Transformation
Built for the work the RHT Program is funding.

The federal Rural Health Transformation Program is putting historic funding into rural America, and it tends to fail the same way: the technology or the care model gets bought, and the change never lands in a lean, distributed team. Closing that gap is the work we do. We have stood up regional shared care infrastructure, prepared thousands of clinicians in lean multi site settings, and trained clinicians at go live across a system of rural hospitals.
